The group has received early reviews from ChristianMusicToday.com (Rush of Fools sound considerably improved for their sophomore effort), CMCentral.com (Rush of Fools has succeeded in its transparency about the "Wonder of the World" and continually points listeners back to God, His word, His purposes, His timing and His ways), Soul-Audio.com (Throughout Wonder of the World, listeners are saturated with recurring themes of God's goodness and faithfulness while at the same time experiencing the rewards of the Christian life), HollywoodJesus.com (The Jason Ingram-produced band returns with their sophomore album, Wonder of the World, in September, proving that they are no one-hit wonders), to name a few.
These great reviews come as the group has sold close to 105,000 units in their young career and Wonder of the World has already sold eleven-thousand in just a few weeks after release. Rush of Fools has been touring non-stop promoting Wonder of the World. The group will headline their own "Wonder of the World" tour in spring 2009 with Jimmy Needham, along with specials guests Sarah Reeves and Joy Lippard.

01 There Is Nothing 2.mp3 Sarah Reeves - OneVerse New Artist!OneVerse new artist Sarah Reeves is joining Rush of Fools on their Wonder of the World Tour in February 2009 and will be talking about her love for the Word of God and the Bible - less people of the world. Here is a little bit more about Sarah...make sure to find her at www.myspace.com/sarahreevesmusic!
With zealous faith and a love of music early on, Reeves first exercised her songwriting/vocal abilities as a participant in her church’s fine arts program. Consistently placing first at local as well as regional competitions, Reeves was moved by the receptiveness of young people to her message—one of power and freedom in the Holy Spirit. She has since made it her goal to serve God by leading young people into a lifestyle of worship and adoration to Him.
Brad O’Donnell, VP of A&R for EMI CMG was drawn to Sarah’s music for this reason. “I first became aware of Sarah Reeves through the artist Plumb (Tiffany Lee) and her husband Jeremy. When Jeremy played Sarah’s music for me, I was instantly impressed with the uniqueness of her voice and the strength of her writing. Then when I met with her I was struck by her authenticity as a person and her passion for her generation. You only meet a gifted artist like Sarah every once in a great while, and I am so excited that we are getting the chance to work with her.”
“Patton House is so proud to be able to represent Sarah,” says Patton. “She brings such a fresh perspective on worship to the church at large, and we look forward to being able to carry out her dreams and calling with her. Sarah’s heart for authentic worship, and her strength as a corporate worship leader is something that I’ve not seen in an artist this early in their career. She truly radiates Jesus to all she meets.”
The result is a label contract and release of Reeves’ national debut, Sweet Sweet Sound will be available on April 21, 2009. The project’s first single “Sweet, Sweet Sound,” however, will be available at iTunes beginning January 27, 2009.

01 Sweet Sweet Sound Album FINAL Version 1.mp3A Worthwhile Choice
Jack (pictured) had a choice. He had given years of his life to help translate the Lau New Testament in the ‘80s. Certainly he had paid his dues. He could earn a comfortable income as a diesel mechanic or he could join a new project for the regional Pijin Old Testament for half of his mechanics pay. He chose to sacrifice for his people.
Today, Jack brings his over 20 years of translation experience to a translation of his mother tongue, North Malaita. His travel for translation workshops includes a two hour walk to the main road, a five-hour truck ride, a seven-hour ship voyage, and a taxi to the office. Jack knows the transformation found in God’s Word is worth the trip.
Branded a WitchdoctorAbout 99% of the Digo people are followers of a major world religion. But this is mixed with their traditional animistic beliefs and witch doctors are still active. The Lord is slowly calling more Digo to Himself. Recently, a widow was among a group of Digo Christians who declared their faith in Christ through baptism. She said that the moment she declared that she had accepted Jesus into her life, her whole family turned against her. Seeing the successes that God had brought into her life, family members branded her a witchdoctor. However, she recognized that this was merely an attempt to justify their persecution of her. She remained steadfast and wouldn’t disown Christ though the family broke off all contact.
Having read in the Digo Scriptures that she should love her enemies, this lady loved her family and cried out to God for reconciliation with them. When one of her sisters was critically injured, the lady visited her in the hospital and prayed for her quick recovery. God used this as a turning point for the whole family. When this woman was healed and saw how her Christian sister loved and prayed for her, she became reconciled with her. Later the sister and their mother also chose the Christian path.
2008 Year End Praises! With all the insecurity in the news around us, it’s encouraging to see how God is using The Seed Company to bring His Word to so many. He graciously invites us to be used to touch the lives of unreached people. We humbly serve in this mission and celebrate the impact of God’s Word. Highlights from our praises in 2008 are listed below.
- We celebrate the start of Bible translation in partnership with others in 68 languages in 2008 (compared to 18 languages the prior year) – that represents a Bible translation start almost every 5 days in 2008, bringing the total number of languages impacted to over 500.
- Because of Bible translation efforts going on right now through The Seed Company, in the months and years ahead, an estimated 415 million people will have God’s Word in their heart language for the first time.
- We are thankful for the sacrificial giving of our investors, who are key partners in helping us accomplish the mission God has called us to. In 2008, investors contributed almost $10 million to The Seed Company Bible translation efforts – that represents 29% growth over the previous year.
